These 'Snap Sessions' are designed to give children an opportunity to help with any concerns they may have in chosen topics found in Mathematics within Key Stage 2.
Every week, a chosen topic will be highlighted on social media and here on the website. Parents have an opportunity to book on a weekly basis, depending on the topic being taught, or there is an opportunity to use it as a regular Mathematics slot, taught through the medium of Welsh.
These sessions will be taught in a 'lecture' style format, where the children present will be placed on mute. If an individual has a question or simply wants clarification on a subject, there will be a chat option available on Zoom. I will unmute individuals if they have a question to ask. This will allow me to clarify any query and make corrections.
Each day is dedicated to a different year group. This allows certain topics to be covered at the appropriate level, and means like minded children and ages can learn together as one. This being said, if you feel your child would benefit from being taken back to basics on something, or even pushed further, we can discuss this. You will be able to book onto a different year group if required.
The sessions are only half an hour long, and geared to be small, informative sessions, in order to build confidence, and allow each individual to benefit.
